Brief introduction

Automatic grinding ball production line is widely used to produce ball mill balls from dia30mm to dia150mm. The whole production line is high automation with the annual production range from 10 000tons to 15 000 tons.

HX-840 type adopts the larger size of the metal mold to increase the chrome balls productivity. The annual productivity is about 10000 to 18000 tons ( depends on the size of the ball). This ball mill balls production line can produce two different sizes of the balls at the same time. It is equipped with PLC automatic control and touching screen. Operators can monitor the whole grinding media ball production process by touching screen. If any failures, the production line can automatically alarm. All control box has an emergency stop button. It also has the ability of remote maintenance&remote diagnose failure functions

The main components of the steel grinding ball production line:

● Molds opening unit

● Molds closing unit

● Turnover unit (single/double working position)

● Vibrating sand falling unit

● Sand blowing unit(double/four working position)

● Pushing mold/sending mold unit

● Delivery roll

● Pouring system

This whole working process of the ball mill media production line:

Sand blowing unit to blow the coated sand into the cavities of the metal mold → after sand coated, goes to molds closing unit, close the top and bottom molds → pouring machine pour the liquid iron into the closed molds → after a certain time, goes to molds opening unit, move the top mold → the bottom mold goes to turnover unit to let the formed grinding balls out. → Both the top and bottom molds go to the vibrating unit to clean the residual sand → Finally, come back to the sand blowing unit and goes into the next cycle.
